You wake up in a room with no memory of who you are or how you got here.
Someone left you clues. Someone wanted you to leave.
But not everybody wants you gone.
Sneak, search, and survive as you piece together your identity — and the truth.
- WASD to move
- SHIFT to sprint
- SPACE to talk / skip dialogue & cutscenes
- E to interact
- P to pickpocket (inspired by Schedule 1)
- (If you encounter any game-breaking bugs, press F4 to restart the game)
About this Project:
Mental Archives is a student-made game developed as part of a college project. It was created in under 3 months by a team with little to no experience in game development.
As part of the project’s requirements:

We were limited to using GameMaker Studio as the game engine
